Suzanne Billings, M.Ed., M.S., LPCA
Hi, I’m Suzanne! I believe we all need someone to accept us for who we are and to walk alongside us through life’s most difficult challenges. I know the courage it takes to heal. My personal journey is what inspired my passion for helping children and adults uncover their own courage for healing.
I have had the privilege of serving children and families in public school for 27 years as a school counselor and educator. I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling from Clemson University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, certified school counselor, and certified teacher for general and special education. My diverse background has allowed me to be versatile and skilled in meeting the specific needs of children and adults.
On a personal note, I am a mom and step-mom to four adult children (ages ranging from 20-26) and know the trials of parenting in different stages of life. I have navigated divorce and re-marriage, which has given me life experiences to pair with my skilled knowledge of developing healthy relationships. I am a pet-mom to a precious dog and cat and have mourned the loss of several other beloved pets. Recently, I have the pleasure of adding the special role of being a new grandmom! To recharge, I enjoy curling up with a good book, dabbling in creative arts, playing games, and exploring new restaurants. I also love being out in nature camping (well, let’s be real, for me it’s glamping!).
